The Employers & Manufacturers Association (EMA) has been helping Kiwi businesses succeed for more than 130 years. They are part of a nationwide network that includes BusinessNZ, Business Central, Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Otago Southland Employers’ Association. Together they focus on supporting businesses through advice, learning and advocacy to create a business environment where their members across all sectors and industries can recover, transform and grow.

The Requirements Included

• A new RiSE website: Use iMIS 2017 responsive website template so that the look & feel is per the EMA concept design for both desktop and mobile designs.
• Bootstrap Functionalities: Use the new iMIS 2017 RiSE ability to create sophisticated layouts based on bootstrap functionalities which making development of responsive layouts easy, userfriendly and richer from a UX perspective.
• Personalisation:  Use the Dynamic Content Personalisation provided in RiSE with Process Automation & other tools to target various constituents. This will allow EMA to easily upsell products, events and services to all constituents.
• Reduced Maintenance Cost and Easier Upgrade Path: Ability to develop the Corporate website and potential future websites will result in reduced cost of development and maintenance. Future opportunities for elimination of 3rd party integration points will also have the benefit of easier subsequent iMIS upgrades.
• Engagement Scoring tools: Easily determine who is engaging with our organisation, how they are engaging and at what level, through defined score formulas.
• Advanced Event  and Training Search Capability
• Extended capability for Event Display
• Calculation tools: to allow members to see their fees

The Outcome

“Our website on RiSE is a vast improvement on our previous SharePoint site.

It is aesthetically more pleasing, enables us to host video (which we were unable to do before), has new features such as a built in calculator to enable people to estimate what their member subscription is, a free sign up for non-members, greater functionality in our member portal for people to update their details, provides suggested content and has greater call to action capability. The dynamic content also ensures that the site is kept up to date.”
